Hunters across the state are getting ready to purchase licenses for the upcoming hunting and trapping season.
Beginning Monday, a general license for state residents is nearly $21, but is available at a discount price for seniors. Non-residents will pay nearly $102.
The only notable change from last year is that a discount license is also available for Hunter-Trapper Education instructors. The price of just $1 plus about $2 in administrative fees was part of a bill signed into law earlier this year.
The new license year begins July 1st. To purchase a license or for more information, visit the Game Commission’s website.
