A local organization is offering free development and autism check ups next week.
On Monday, October 16 at the Stirling Village location, Lifesteps will be offering free developmental and autism checks for children birth to age five from 9am to noon. A screening takes about 30 minutes and the results are discussed immediately with parents/guardians.
He screening check uses games and activities to determine a child’s current level of development. By checking to see if a child has met key milestones at age appropriate benchmarks “children are more likely to reach their potential.”
