It was a busy morning for first responders, who dealt with numerous calls for accidents and fires.
As storms rolled in after 6 a.m., that led to some issues around the county. A call for multiple homes struck by lightning happened around 6:30 a.m. in the Seven Fields Borough on Northridge Drive. Crews say no significant damage happened to the home.
There was also an accident on Route 422 in Butler Township in between Route 8 and Route 38 interchanges. Details on the crash are unclear, but it caused delays in the westbound lane for about a half hour.
There was also calls for trees and wires down, including on Saxonburg Road.
