Legislation aimed at lobby reform in the state of Pennsylvania is gaining traction in Harrisburg.
10 bills and one resolution passed out of the state government committee in the state house this week. Chairman Seth Grove (R-York) says this legislation is a step in the right direction.
“It’s very important and very clear that the will of the general assembly and the will of the people lay louder than special interests,” Grove said.
Among the bills include limiting gifts from lobbyists and prohibiting lobbyists from influencing legislators they worked for in the past.
All bills now move to the state senate.
