A local attorney with a familiar name has announced his candidacy for judge.
Matthew McCune recently announced his intention to run for one of the seats on the Butler County Court of Common Pleas.
McCune was a graduate of Butler High School before attending Seton Hill University and Duquesne University Kline School of Law. Matthew is the son of retiring Butler County Court of Common Pleas Judge Timothy McCune and currently an attorney with Conlon Tarker in Butler.
Speaking of his wide array of experience in law including his practice in civil litigation as well as estate planning and administration, McCune states “As a lifelong resident, the spirit of the Butler community was integral in my growth not only professionally, but as a father and husband. I strive to be in the vanguard of seeing that Butler County continues to be a regional leader in faith, service, justice, and the rule of law.”
