Local residents are doing what they can to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Connoquenessing business owner Buddy Hindman of Hindman Trucking will hold a collection of items this weekend, fill up one of his tractor trailers, and travel to a small Texas town next week.
Natascha Cratty of Butler also decided to help lead efforts to help. Her group is filling up a tractor trailer with supplies. The truck is currently parked in the Regal Cinemas parking lot at Moraine Point Plaza in Butler.
“We are not affiliated with any kind of organization or business,” Cratty said. “We’re just everyday people thinking, ‘what can we do to pay if forward?’”
