In local college football from Saturday:
Pitt defeated Syracuse 31-14. The Panthers will return to action on Saturday (December 4th) when they take on Wake Forest in the ACC Championship. Kickoff is scheduled for 8pm.
Penn State fell to Michigan State 30-27.
WVU defeated Kansas 34-28. With the win, the Mountaineers become bowl eligible.
