The number of local residents requiring hospitalization for serious COVID-19 symptoms is holding steady however more local deaths have been reported to the state.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Thursday morning 44 patients were hospitalized at Butler Memorial Hospital with nine of those in the ICU.
This is an increase of three more in the ICU compared to Monday.
The hospital reported one COVID-related death on Tuesday followed by two more on Wednesday.
