The Butler Health System has named a local doctor to an important position.
Dr. Elliot Smith is the system’s new Chief Clinical Officer and Vice President of the BHS Ambulatory Network.
As part of this position, Smith will assist all BHS outpatient providers and Butler Medical Providers in meeting new and emerging care delivery requirements.
For many years Smith has practiced internal medicine in northern Allegheny and southern Butler County. In addition to the responsibilities of his new position, Smith will continue to practice internal medicine on a part-time basis at his BHS Evans City office.
