A local business has received international recognition at a recent competition.
Metrick’s Harvest View Farm and Market of Mt. Chestnut recently won first place in the cider competition at the Mid Atlantic Fruit and Vegetable Convention in Hershey, PA.
This event is attended by several thousand fruit and vegetable producers and educators from across the region, country, and even Canada. Judging was accomplished by fruit industry representatives and researchers.
This is the second time that Metrick’s Harvest View Farm and Market has received the top cider award with the first coming in 2018.
