Two local brothers who were active in the southern Butler County firefighting community recently passed away within a short time of each other.
Past Chief and former Fire Administrator with the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company Mark Nanna passed away Wednesday evening followed by Past President Lee Nanna Thursday morning.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, 56-year-old Mark died of complications from an infection. After hearing that news, 69-year-old Lee suffered a heart attack and also died. Brother Neal Nanna is a retired Chief of the Harmony Fire District.
Private visitation for family along with firefighters and their families will take place Sunday evening at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home along with a firefighter service with final radio call at 7 p.m. Public visitation is scheduled for 3 to 8 p.m. Monday with a funeral planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dutilh United Methodist Church.
