The GWFC Junior Women’s Club is holding a fun event is this weekend and tickets are still available. Chelynne Curci-Lang is one of the co-chairs of this fundraiser.
“The theme this year is a speakeasy so 1920s; we’ve got some casino games, everybody’s buying their flapper-style dresses, it should be a lot of fun.”
Twilight Magic Speakeasy will be held at the Atrium in Butler, on Saturday, March 24th beginning at 6:30 p.m. This is the 17th year for the event, which will include casino games staged by a professional company where participants can win tickets for use in basket raffles.
There will also be appetizers, an open bar, entertainment, a 50/50, a wine pull, and a silent auction. Through the Junior Women’s Club, this fundraiser will benefit three local organizations that do a lot of good in our community.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County; we also selected the Butler County Alliance for Children or the Child Advocacy Center; and then our third organization is called Healing for Heroes Hearts and they work with veterans and their families who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.”
Tickets are $55 per person and available online at eventbrite by searching Butler County twilight magic as well as through the event’s Facebook page.
