With Easter only a week away, more local groups are planning seasonal events.
First, the Mars Area High School Student council will host their annual Spring Eggs-travaganza beginning at 11:30 a.m. Sunday (today) and continuing until 2:30 p.m. at the High School. This free event is open to the public and includes games, crafts, egg hunts, and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Donations will be collected to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Then, on Monday (tomorrow), students at Dutilh Preschool in Cranberry Township will hold their annual Hop for Hope Fundraiser event from 11 to 11:30 a.m. The day will include a hopping obstacle course with fun songs. Proceeds will go towards purchasing textbooks for the Home of Hope Orphanage in Zimbabwe, Africa.
