A group of local golfers are making a significant donation to a cancer center.
The non-profit “Golfing for the Cure” has held two golf outings over the last couple of summers. Last year, the group raised over $7,000.
Earlier this month, individuals visited the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Center in the Pullman Square to present the group with a check.
Over the last two years, the group has raised over $11,000 since the golf outing began.
This year’s outing is set for June 10th. Sign up information is available on Golfing for the Cure’s Facebook page.
