Undefeated Pine-Richland defeated previously undefeated Governor Mifflin in the 5A PIAA football semifinals on Saturday 48-44. The Rams will move on to the state championship.
The Seneca Valley boys’ soccer team won the 4A state title game on Saturday, as they defeated Neshaminy in overtime 2-1.
The North Allegheny girls’ soccer team fell to Pennridge in the 4A state title game on Saturday in double overtime. The final was 1-0.
The North Catholic girls’ soccer team fell to Bloomsburg in the 2A state title game, the final 1-0. Saturday’s contest was the Trojans first appearance in the PIAA state title game.
The North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team won their fourth straight PIAA state final. The Tigers defeated Unionville in the 4A champsionship.
