An upcoming talk will detail the history of movie theaters in Butler.
Local historian Bill May is presenting “Butler Historic Movie Theaters” which will be held on March 22nd and 23rd at the Penn Theater.
It will tell the story of Butler’s four downtown theaters. (The Penn, Majestic, Lyric/Capitol, and our grand movie palace “The Butler.”)
The show on Saturday, March 23rd has sold out and only a few tickets are left for the Friday, March 22nd talk.
The night will also include a tour of the Penn Theater, plus a cash bar and snacks.
