A local lawmaker is part of a group preparing to lay out a plan to make Pennsylvania’s Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund solvent again.
State Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-10th) is participating in a press conference with fellow lawmakers Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Harrisburg.
The group will be joined by the state director of the National Federation of Independent Businesses as well as a representative from the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.
Bernstine believes this legislation would lead to tax cuts for workers and employers and bring stability to the fund. This hearing will be livestreamed on the PA House GOP website.
