A local man is facing multiple charges following an alleged burglary in Butler Township earlier this week.
According to a criminal complaint filed by Butler Township Police, 56-year-old Dean Krelko was observed by a witness removing a computer printer from an apartment on Hansen Avenue Monday night (2/12).
The witness notified the owner of the apartment who was not home at the time but that person then notified police. During the police investigation, officers entered the victim’s apartment with the landlord and observed signs of tampering with the door.
Krelko lived in another apartment in the same building so his apartment was searched and officers found the missing printer as well as other items the victim reported as stolen. Krelko has been charged with felony burglary and felony criminal trespass as well as misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
