A local man is facing felony charges following a search of a residence in the City of Butler earlier this week by police.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Butler County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, officers executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Hickory Street around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police found suspected crystal methamphetamine in a plastic bag, in the toilet, and on the floor of the bathroom in the amount of nearly six grams. Police also found 39 stamp bags containing a powder substance suspected to be heroin along with other drug paraphernalia.
A woman in the house at the time of the search told police that 42-year-old Raymond Shane Baker was in the bathroom immediately before police arrived. She also stated that any drug sales that were occurring at the residence were not being done by her.
Baker has been charged with felony Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance. He was booked into the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bond.
