Butler City Police now say they have the man in custody that illegally went onto a school bus Thursday.
44-year-old Clifford Anderson of Butler City was arrested last evening around 5:45 p.m.
According to City Police, the incident happened around 7 a.m. Thursday on Lincoln Avenue near the intersection with Center Avenue.
Police say Anderson got on a school bus and began to threaten the students using profane language.
The school bus driver told Anderson to get off the bus several times before he finally did.
Police believe that it was an isolated incident, which began after Anderson intervened in an argument among the students.
Police say they were able to use video evidence to identify Anderson.
He’s now facing multiple charges including terroristic threats, harassment, and unauthorized school bus entry.
