A Slippery Rock man is facing charges following a dangerous driving incident that occurred last month in neighboring Mercer County.
According to Grove City Police, officers were involved with the pursuit of a vehicle traveling at nearly 100 miles per hour in the residential area of South Center Street July 3rd around 7 p.m.
Police stopped the pursuit for safety reasons but were able to see three people in the vehicle and were able to retrieve registration information. Later in the day, the two female passengers were located but told police that they did not know the driver. A week later police were able to identify and arrest 34-year-old Eric Dubois as the vehicle driver.
The two female passengers have been charged with Obstruction of Justice for allegedly lying to police about knowing the driver.
