A local resident is receiving recognition for her positive impact on the community.
Linda Thoma was recently named a Community Champion Award Honoree by the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber.
Thoma is the Director of Operations at the Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center and also volunteers to help with community dinners at St. Luke’s Church as well as provides free tax returns for low income residents as a certified VITA tax preparer.
Thoma’s volunteer efforts on the Board of Butler Collaborative for Families and a committee member of Butler County Twilight Wish are a couple more reasons why she has received this chamber award.
