Local students will have the chance for a unique perspective on history thanks to a scholarship received by several Seneca Valley teachers.
Three teachers at Seneca Valley Senior High School and two at Ryan Gloyer Middle School have been selected by the Seneca Valley Foundation as Classrooms Without Boarders scholarship recipients.
Monday morning 7th and 8th grade gifted education students will experience the holocaust through a one-woman play based on diaries and letters from the time.
Classrooms Without Borders provides experiential and extended-term professional development for teachers as well as unique travel experiences with direct application to classroom instruction.
