A local state representative has announced that his office will hold a series of clinics to help constituents with property tax and rent rebates.
Todd Nesbit, who represents the 8th District, will host three sessions in Butler County to assist constituents with the complex paperwork that corresponds with property tax and rent rebates.
The rebate program is designed to help Pennsylvanians age 65 and older, as well as widows and widowers age 50 and older, and people with disabilities age 18 and over. Additional eligibility requirements include an income limit of $35,000 per year for homeowners and $15,000 for renters. The income thresholds include half of Social Security income excluded.
The clinics will be held at the following sites from 10am to 1pm:
- February 28th – Marion Township (2275 West Sunbury Road, Suite B, Boyers)
- March 6th – Clay Township (1115 Euclid School Road, Butler)
- March 11th – Worth Township (811 W. Park Road, Slippery Rock)
