Independence Health System is celebrating its largest graduating class of Junior Auxiliary students.
The summertime program brings Butler County high schoolers to Butler Memorial Hospital to learn about all different types of careers in healthcare.
A total of 49 students completed the 10-week program, amassing more than 2,000 hours of experience.
Students also received a $300 incentive for completing all of the program requirements.
A luncheon was held earlier this month to honor the students who completed the program.
