Two local organizations are trying to help make a better holiday season for kids in need through toy collections.
The Mars Area Middle School’s Student Government is currently holding a Toys for Tots Drive through Friday, December 4th. New, unopened, and unwrapped toys for kids 12 and younger, especially ages 5 to 9, will be collected at the school’s main office during normal school hours. Monetary donations can be made through the Toys for Tots website.
The Mercer Station of the Pennsylvania State Police is also holding a holiday toy drive through Friday, December 4th. New, unwrapped toys should be dropped off in the lobby of the station in Mercer and will be distributed through the Children’s Aid Society of Mercer. Any and all donations are appreciated.
