Local vaccination rates continue to climb in the weeks since children 5-11 were approved to get their COVID shot.
According to the Department of Health, there are more than 106,000 county residents who are now fully vaccinated. We’ve also seen partial vaccination rates climb as well—more than 12,000 people have received one shot of the vaccine.
And with the recent announcement by the CDC recommending booster shots for all adults, those numbers have more than doubled in the past two weeks. More than 30,000 county residents have received their booster.
