A longtime county employee is receiving recognition for her work from a statewide organization.
Lori Altman was named as the Chief Clerk of the Year by the County Commissioner Association of Pennsylvania.
She has been with the county for almost 25 years—the last 20 as director of human resources.
She was named chief clerk in 2018 and now helps manage over 600 county employees.
In her nomination, county commissioners cited her support and leadership to help guide the county over the 20 years.
Altman was recognized with an award at the annual C-Cap dinner last night.
