A longtime church in Downtown Butler will be closing its doors at the end of the month.
Grace at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church on the Diamond will be holding their last service on February 27th.
According to a church memo, officials say that the church is struggling to “provide the quality of ministry that its parishioners deserve.”
It also said that pandemic accelerated a trend of declining attendance.
The church had been open in Butler for 131 years. It is expected to be sold soon after its closing.
