A longtime member of the Butler County agriculture industry has died.
Harold Foertsch passed away Tuesday at his home.
He was the owner and operator of the Har-Lo Farm in Jefferson Township. Foertsch was also a member of the Butler Farm Show board for nearly 40 years.
An active member of the agricultural industry, he was named as the Bullshipper of the Year in 2008.
He also spent time as an iron worker, herdsman and bus driver.
Friends will be received at the Fox Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 p.m. and then from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of life will be held tomorrow at the Fox Funeral Home at 11 a.m.
Foertsch was 83.
