A local business owner and community member has died.
Bob Moore passed away last week at a Pittsburgh hospital.
Moore was the longtime owner of Milo Williams Jewelers on Main Street. He operated the store until his retirement in 2010.
He was also involved in the local racing community, running at Lernerville Speedway in his Late Model #111 and #114.
His family says Moore had a soft spot for rescue animals, and would rescue strays from the side of the road.
Moore was 72.
