Longtime Parks Employee Huey Retires

A longtime member of the Butler City Parks Department is retiring.

Butler City Council accepted the retirement of Supervisor Roderick “Rod” Huey after nearly 26 years of service effective February 4^th.

The job will be posted internally first for other current City employees to consider before outside candidates would be considered.

There are currently three City employees that make up Butler’s Parks Department.
