The longtime CEO of the Pittsburgh Zoo is set to retire next year.
The zoo made the announcement yesterday that Dr. Barbara Baker will step aside in the near future after leading the organization for the last 31 years.
Baker will oversee the zoo and aquarium until the new CEO is named; officials say an international search is already underway.
She will also be named President Emeritus of the Pittsburgh Zoo in recognition for her years of service.
