A longtime teacher in the South Butler County School District has announced his plans to retire at the end of the current school year.
Knoch High School Biology teacher Shaun Brumbaugh recently informed district administrators about his intentions and his retirement was accepted by the South Butler School Board Wednesday night.
Superintendent Dr. David Foley called Brumbaugh “a valuable and important part of our Biology instruction and an important leader for the teachers and the teachers rely on him for his experience”.
School Board president Donna Eakin stated that Brumbaugh will be missed.
