Lorraine Elizabeth Cable, age 86, of Butler, formerly of Fombell, peacefully passed away Wednesday morning March 19, 2025 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.
Born February 1, 1939 in New Kensington; she was the daughter of the late Reid and Lorraine Mason Finney.
She was a member of Camp Run Presbyterian Church.
In her early years, she owned her own salon in her home and then managed and worked at many Nursing facility beauty shops in the county.
Lorraine will be remembered as a caregiver for many in the Zelienople area.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, going to auctions, and casino trips with her dear friend Norine Lischy.
She is survived by his children Denise (Gary) McKean-Neely, Deborah (Kirk) Inskipt, Kevin Cable, grandchildren Kassandra (Jason) McKean-Lumley, Sean (Morgan) Inskipt, Victoria (Logan) Nencioni, Raymond Cable; great grandchildren Kirsten McKean, Lelynd Lumley, and Elio Nencioni.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Cable, Jr., who she married April 27, 1962 and who passed away May 12, 2024; her great granddaughter Jaycee Lumley; and her beloved dog Jack.
John, a US Air Force Veteran, and his wife Lorriane will be reunited with a memorial service for both of them on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 10AM, in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017, with Rev. Andrew Shaffer, a previous pastor, neighbor, and family friend, will be officiating.
Cremation services are under the direction of Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
