Louis C. Ristity, age 59, of Butler, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017, at VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born in Los Angeles, California, on June 7, 1958, he was a son of the late Donald Ristity and Dolly Cotten Oertel.
He was employed by Community Care Connections, Inc. and ARC of Washington County.
Lou was a member of Saint Andrew Roman Catholic Church.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed shooting guns. He also enjoyed being an amateur comedian.
He is survived by one son, Daniel L. Ristity and his wife, Amanda, of Butler; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Ristity, of Butler; two grandchildren, Gavin Saeler and Emma Saeler, of Butler; two brothers, Roger Ristity, of Slippery Rock, and Donald Ristity and his wife, Dolly, of Cleveland, Ohio; and his fiancée, Sandy Chesmer, of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received at the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Monday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Saint Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 1660 North Main Street Extension, Butler, with the Reverend Nick Argentieri, pastor, officiating.
