Louise “Weezy” Covey

Louise “Weezy” Covey, 72, of Butler passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023. She was born in Butler on December 14, 1950 to the late James and Helen (Paradis) Fowler. Louise graduated from Butler High School in 1968. She was a very selfless person that made sure everyone else needs were first. She was known for being very good at grounding people in her own “feisty ways”. Louise loved spending time with her family, working, coffee, and painting. She was the mother of Shawn (Lora) Covey and Tabatha (Troy Wroblewski) Covey; sister of Henery Fowler; grandmother of Levi, Brett (Zoey), Taylor (Yeissen), Isaiah (Ryleigh), Hunter, Hanson, and Haley (Nathan); great grandmother of Laikyn, Yeissen, Landyn, and baby Wroblewski due February 2024. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edger Covey Jr, sisters Rosemary Kuminkoski, and Lois McKnight.
