A local organization is joining with the Butler County Humane Society later this week to mark Kindness to Animals Day.
Residents of Lowrie Place will receive a visit from a few dogs at their Stirling Village location in Meridian Wednesday afternoon.
After collecting pet supplies last month, residents will present doggie treat bags to Humane Society staff.
