A local organization is getting ready to welcome kids to a Halloween event later this week.
Residents of Lowrie Place are welcoming children from the community to their Stirling Village location in Meridian Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The “Treats and Books” event will include lots of treats like yummy refreshments and fund books without any tricks.
Lowrie Place has been collecting new and gently used books for this event since July.
