Lynn Hageter, 75, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 4, 2021 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1946 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Floyd J. Smith and Norabel R. (Leech) Smith.
Lynn worked for Armstrong School District as a teacher. She also worked for Lifesteps and for Wesley Institute. Lynn loved horses and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Robert S. Hageter, Sr. whom she married on June 26, 1971; three sons, Robert (Audrey) Hageter, Jr. of Rimersburg, PA, Kirk (Brandy) Hageter of Cabot, PA, and Gregory (Kelli) Hageter of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, Marissa Hageter, Kara Hageter, Teja Hageter, Brayden Hageter, Lia Hageter, Harli Hageter, Hendrix Hageter; two brothers, James Smith of Minerva, OH, and Jeffrey (Beth) Smith of Fenelton, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Randal Smith, and an infant sister, Cheryl Smith.
Friends will be received Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc., 124 East North St. Butler, PA, with Pastor Jared Townley, of St. Luke Lutheran Church of Cabot, PA, officiating.
Private burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
