A Massachusetts man has been charged in Butler County after he allegedly violated a non-disclosure agreement with the company he worked for.
Police are accusing 45-year-old Michael Martineau of violating an NDA by saving company materials from a Cranberry business. Martineau served as Vice-President of Client Delivery for Green Cabbage before resigning in August of 2024.
After Green Cabbage received his work computer in September of 2024, a forensic investigation was completed. It identified that over 90 files had been saved and shared with Martineau’s personal online drive.
Martineau has been charged with unlawful possession of a trade secret, computer theft, and unlawful duplication. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
