A Pine Township man is in custody following a standoff with police yesterday that shut down a number of roads in southern Butler County.
Police say 28-year-old James Bernard Lee-Livingston had been on the run since December 2023, when a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
It started yesterday afternoon when police say Lee-Livingston was involved in a domestic dispute. However, at the end of the argument he was able to avoid police and remained at-large throughout the day.
Police then set up surveillance at that same home later that evening. Lee-Livingston returned and then called an Uber.
Once he got into the car, police pulled the vehicle over. That’s when Lee-Livingston got out of the car and attempted to run away. But, he was soon caught by police and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
The police situation shut down Mars-Valencia Road, Three Degree Road, and Babcock Boulevard.
