A man is facing a number of charges following a police chase that lasted a few miles in Washington Township.
State police say it happened Sunday around 1 a.m. when they went to the home of 27-year-old Shane Everetts of North Washington, who was wanted on a probation warrant and simple assault.
When police arrived at his home on Oneida Valley Road, they walked through the yard and then saw Everetts take off inside his vehicle.
Police tried to pull the car over, but Everetts kept driving until he got to Parker Road. At that point police used what they call Precision Immobilization Technique, which caused the car to stop by rotating 90 degrees.
Everetts was taken into custody, where he was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
He was placed in the Butler County Prison.
