A man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after he accidentally shot himself in the leg while in the drive thru line.
It happened last night around 7:30 p.m. at the Burger King on Route 8 South in Butler Township. Police say a 30-year-old man was taking his wallet out of his front pocket, when he accidentally shot himself in the thigh.
EMS crews were called and applied a tourniquet on his leg.
The man was then flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center for treatment.
A portion of Route 8 was closed to allow the helicopter to land.
Police say the incident is still under investigation.
