A Butler man is facing charges for allegedly breaking into an ex-girlfriends’ home.
Slippery Rock Police were called to a home Monday after the victim of a burglary received a call from a family member that 25-year-old Mark Dellen II was planning to break into the home to “ruin (the victim’s) and her children’s Christmas.”
It’s alleged that Dellen broke into the victim’s home when she was at work, then damaged three TVs, a PS5, broke a security camera, damaged the front door to the home, and victim’s dog was missing when she arrived on scene.
Police spoke with both the victim and family member on scene who corroborated the story and also provided text messages that happened during and after the burglary.
Dellen is facing numerus charges including felony one burglary, he is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
