A Slippery Rock man is facing charges after allegedly abusing his partner this past weekend.
According to charging documents, there were two separate incidents Saturday involving 23-year-old Garrett Erford of Slippery Rock.
Police say the first happened between midnight and 2 a.m. and the second between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Erford allegedly hit the victim with his hands, a television, and dragged the woman across the floor injuring her face, legs, and knees.
After the second alleged abuse the victim left to their parents’ home and reported it to the Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver.
Erford has been charged with simple assault and harassment, he is out of prison on an unsecured bond. He has preliminary hearing scheduled for September 18.
