Two people are facing charges following a police chase in Grove City.
It happened last Friday around 9:15 a.m. when police were called to the McDonald’s on Main Street for a possible stolen vehicle. Officers soon confirmed it was stolen and went to pull the car over. That’s when the driver, 28-year-old Brandon Bargar of Somerset, sped up and tried to flee police.
Bargar’s vehicle crashed on Pinchalong Road, which led him and 21-year-old Mazie Knight of Spartansburg to flee into the woods.
Grove City Police called for help from State Police, and eventually the two were located around noon hiding in the woods.
Bargar had numerous warrants and is now facing additional charges. Knight was taken into custody as well.
