A local man is facing charges after an incident with police earlier this week.
According to Butler Township Police, officers responded to Atglen Street shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday for a disturbance between a homeowner and a guest.
62-year-old Phillip Main of Butler allegedly and repeatedly threatened to kill officers as he pointed a crossbow at them.
Officers were able to take Main into custody and later discovered the crossbow was not loaded. Main was booked into the Butler County Jail on charges including Terroristic Threats and Reckless Endangerment.
