A man is in custody following a stabbing that happened early Monday morning in Slippery Rock.
Police were called to The Grove apartments on Harmony Road just after 4 a.m. for an alleged stabbing.
23-year-old Brennan Steeley of Greensburg is accused of stabbing 22-year-old Oliver Valera of Slippery Rock in the neck with a fixed blade knife.
According to police, Steeley was hosting a party at his apartment where everyone was using marijuana and drinking alcohol.
Valera arrived later on and after several hours Steeley told police that he believed Valera drugged him and others at the party. He confronted Valera about it and accused him of trying to kill everyone at the party.
Steeley then stabbed Valera in the neck, who was then taken to the hospital.
