A man from New York is facing charges after allegedly attempting to withdraw money from an account he did not own.
Police were called to the NexTier Bank in the Moraine Pointe Plaza Monday for a man attempting to withdraw $4,000 from account.
Police say when they were able to track down the man, they discovered 51-year-old Glen Vargas had attempted to withdraw money from an account not in his name.
Allegedly, Vargas had successfully withdrew money from the same account and different bank earlier in the day.
Vargas has been charged with forgery, Identify Theft, Attempted theft by deception, and false ID to law enforcement.
